The farm in Lena, MS is no longer, we are in the process of relocating in North Carolina and will update as soon as we are established and open for business. Thank you for visiting!
We specialize in seasonal organic heirloom and gourmet produce, lovingly tended by hand, picked fresh and delivered within hours to some of Jackson's finest food establishments.
Our aim is sustainability, we grow organically, using beneficial insects to control garden pests, and well composted green and animal manures to amend the soil. Any other amendments we use are OMRI approved. We have a deep spiritual connection to the land and its inhabitants.
ShooFly is the former name of the town where we live. When it grew large enough to justify a post office, evidently ShooFly was not acceptable (!) so it was re-named Lena.
We are happy to announce we have recently received full Certified Naturally Grown certification.
