Description

We are a small Christian family farm located in central Alabama. We are just beginning our adventure in market gardening, but have been providing for our own family for several years. It has been a long road for us taking an abandoned 10 acre overgrown pasture to a working and producing farm. We still have a long way to go and many projects on the list. We figured we will just enjoy the journey and share it with our friends. Our goal is to provide locally grown produce to local clients. We want our clients to know where their food comes from and how it is grown. As a farming family we enjoy getting to know the folks that are eating what we grow. Our children also eat what we grow. So in that respect there are no pesticides nor herbicides. We also mix our own feed for the livestock so as to make sure there is nothing in their feed that we would not feed our own children. Sometimes this means growing our own livestock feed. We are a bit old-fashioned and look to the old ways for many of our farming practices. We look forward to hearing from you.
