Timberwood Organics is a small, family-owned, certified-organic vegetable farm nestled in the woods of Efland. We grow over 40 different kinds of vegetables, herbs, and melons every year, inviting our CSA members to 3 potential u-pick events each season. We have been consistently selling our fresh, organic produce at the Carrboro Farmer's Market since 1998 and have since expanded to include the Eno River Farmer's Market in downtown Hillsborough, and the Chapel Hill Farmer's Market in Chapel Hill. Our products are also available year round through Eastern Carolina Organics (ECO).
Launched in the spring of 2000, our CSA (with a unique home delivery service) currently serves over 200 families in the Chapel Hill/Carrboro, Durham, Raleigh/Cary and Burlington areas. Subscribers are provided a fresh, weekly box of a wide variety of certified organic vegetables and herbs.
We are proud to receive the trust of so many in the area and look forward to seeing old friends and meeting new friends this April during the Piedmont Farm Tour. Come visit us on April 26th and 27th from to 2:00 to 6:00!
