Description

We are nestled in the agriculturally rich farm land in northern Alamance County. Since our inception we have been raising an endangered breed of sheep, the Navajo Churro. Always guided by the flavors and integrity of food we chose this breed for it's incredible flavor. As Slow Food USA described when they named the Navajo on its Ark of Taste, its a flavor worth saving.
On our farm we follow sustainable, natural methods of farming and animal husbandry. We do not offer hormones, antibiotics, or any other unnatural enhancers to their diets. We supplement our pregnant ewes a corn and alfalfa diet to give them the extra nutrients needed to meet the demands of the lambs.
We do not use pesticides or man made fertilzers on our farm. We have adopted many recognized forms of conservation practices on our farm.
We our proud of our product and our customers will agree....Its a flavor worth trying.
We are also proud to offer beautiful wool and wool products.
