Description
Smithfield Organics is a new organic farm located in Smithfield NC. We have applied for organic certification in July of 2011 and should be hearing back any day now. We currently are growing tomatoes, bell pepper and Anaheim peppers.Along with the produce we grow we also grow plants and annuals such as fall mums. pansies, spring bedding plants and other blooming items. We sell our products at the State Farmer's Market in Raleigh and at the Smithfield Farmer's Market in Smithfield.After organic certification is complete, we will grow produce during the winter months in our greenhouses.
