We were Wake County's first and only Certified Organic Produce Farm, located in Willow Spring, NC, just 15 miles south of Raleigh. We are starting our 21st year operating a CSA, growing over 40 varieties of fruits, vegetables and small grains. We sell to restaurants, stores, at farmers markets and wholesale through Eastern Carolina Organics (ECO). We also provide for over 100 families in our CSA program. CSA members support the farm by paying in advance to receive a weekly or bi-weekly share of vegetables through the growing season. We deliver to 4 drop site locations in Raleigh, Cary, and Holly Springs and have 2 farm pic-ups each week. During the season we sell at the Downtown Raleigh Farmers Market on Wednesdays and the Apex Market on Saturdays. We host farm tours to groups of 10 or more, which consists of touring the organic fields, beehives, greenhouses and horse barn. Participants learn where food comes from and get a hands-on lesson about equine care. Tour groups are welcomed to picnic under the shade of 130 yr old pecan trees and visit with our free range chickens, horses and our two goats, Lucy and Ethel! We also grow and sell malted barley to local breweries and to individuals for home brewing and we grow non-GMO soybeans!
