Description
We are a locally supported community garden with emphasis on all natural growing practices. We have an holistic approach to sharing & tending common local favorites. We have expanded. Our Beaufort Rd garden is now a little over an acre. We have added 2 more locations, with 1 acre each. This has allowed us opportunities for U-pick. Visitors are offered the opportunity to pick on halves for some crops. In the main garden at 384 Beaufort Rd, we are transitioning to our early Fall produce. We currently have Okra, eggplant, a small amount of tomatoes & herbs. Our Pears and Figs will soon be ready also. Fall is one of our favorite seasons because it allows weather that is more friendly to laborious task. We welcome families, students and anyone who is interested in learning about food and sharing knowledge.
