Description

Donniesbrook Farm originated in 1979 as a family operated energy conservation and organic agriculture enterprise on the Cicero/Cora Buckner farm at what is now Jessie Bridges/AW Buckner Road between Siler City and Silk Hope in Northwestern Chatham County with produce marketed at the Carrboro Farmers Market during the 1979-80 season. It was reconstituted in the early year-2000 time frame and dubbed "Donniesbrook" for the wetland originating at Jessie Bridges Road and flowing into Nicks Creek to the Rocky River.
