Description

Cedar Hill Enrichment Center is an enrichment center dedicated to Earth education. As a center for sustainable living, we are dedicaed to community education and outreach through holistic and resilient ways of living with Earth and one anotehr. Hands on sessions include permaculture, biodynamics, vermiculture, chemical free gardening, rain barrels, culinary and medicinal herbs. We also offer individual and group retreats, as we believe sustaining the human spirit is at the very core of everything we do. This year, we plan to expand our gardens so that we are able to produce the majority of our own fresh vegetables, herbs and fruit. We are using heirloom or heritage seeds as much as possible and are looking to work with others for seed saving. Our education garden, which features drought tolerant and native plants, herbs and edible landscaping, will be expanded with the creation of key hole gardens to conserve water and space. We invited you to visit, please call first in case we have a program going on. Our woodland paths are open for you to enjoy the native plants or walk our outdoor labyrinth.
