Description

Heart of Christmas Farms, LLC is a small hydroponic & aquaponic farm providing locally grown fruit and vegetables to Florida. We are not organic certified, but use organic growing methods to produce the best tasting, healthiest produce possible. We carefully tend our strawberries, herbs, tomatoes, peppers (bell, banana, hot) lettuces and other greens, and other select vegetables and fruit, many of which are heirloom varieties to ensure that you are receiving the best food available. Hydroponic means that your food is grown in a clean environment (off the ground in a dirt-free medium or water only) and is fed a nutritionally balanced, natural solution throughout it's growth and production. Hydroponically grown foods are highly nutritious, full flavored, and are normally attractive as they are grown in a dirt free environment. An added bonus is that we use only a fraction of the water normally required and are not adding chemicals to our land. As a family farm, we are able to supply families, restaurants, chefs, and retailers, with high quality, farm fresh products. We can also "grow to order". Our farm stand is currently open Sundays from noon to 5pm---Please call or email for current hours and availability. on facebook: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Heart-Of-Christmas-Farms
