The intent of the Garden is to give people the opportunity to grow food for themselves and others as well as provide gardeners a place to gather.
The City of Mary Esther is gardening together for healthy food and improving the community. We plan to encourage a healthy diet based on organically grown produce and good earth management. We will employ the practices of composting, collecting rainwater, recycling and use of environmentally safe pest management. We will give back to the community by inviting schools, community centers and food banks to manage a garden plot for their organization that they can use for their needs.
