At 'From the Ground Up' Community Garden, we're growing veggies, giving back ... and nurturing a true spirit of community.

What began as an abandoned plot of land under the overpass in Downtown Pensacola, Florida has blossomed into a hub for education, art, music and sustainability. As a project of Innisfree Hotels' Hive, we're planting more than vegetables - we're planting the seeds of opportunity.

Mary Esther Community Garden

The City of Mary Esther is gardening together for healthy food and improving the community. We plan to encourage a healthy diet based on organically grown produce and good earth management. We will employ the practices of composting, collecting rainwater, recycling and use of environmentally safe pest management. We will give back to the community by inviting schools, community centers and food banks to manage a garden plot for their organization that they can use for their needs.
