Hurtgen Meadows Farm is a family owned and operated farm in Hillsborough, NC. The farm is situated on 14 acres with about 1.5 acres in vegetable, fruit and flower crops. We primarily sell at local farmers' markets (Eno River, Durham, and Duke). We also supply to local restaurants. We grow our vegetables, fruit, and flowers naturally... we do not use any synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers. We work hard to offer a full line of seasonal, delicious produce year-round. We select hybrid and heirloom vegetables that have proven to grow well and taste great. The rest of the farm acreage is used for hay production. We cut and bale the naturally grown hay a couple of times a year. The hay is horse quality fescue hay. We will occasionally have mulch quality hay for home-gardeners to purchase.
